Dining Benches About a month in the past I was wandering thru my proposal folder and came across a photograph of a wooden floor that I've had stored for a couple of years now. It is not too steadily that a photo speaks to me for such a period of time, but this just one used to be different. It used to be a photograph of a floor laid out right into a duvet of mismatched wood , all of which gave the look to be salvaged from quite a lot of instruments. From the instant I saw it, I wanted one thing an identical.
The problem is that floor is not very high on my checklist of priorities at the moment, as there are so many different things that want attention. We have this strange recess in our dining area that has bugged me for the reason that we moved in, however I have not had the spare cash to spend on an answer. And it dawned on me. I had a lot of these small items of wooden scattered all the way through my garage and studio that I had no thought what to do with, and I may just use them to make a bench akin to the picket ground I used to be after.
And since the pieces had been imperfect, my bench may well be imperfect, as a result of let's face it I am not a woodworker. Low rigidity, low price , prime impact. Perfect. Salvage indicators, block-revealed wooden & a secret compartment flip a handmade bench into an interactive murals.
